War on whistleblower: CIA spies on WikiLeaks for 'Pentagon murder cover-up' exposure?

Colbert mocks Beck radio show over ’social justice’ warning

“What's going on with war?”

The CIA vs. WikiLeaks

Barrett Brown, regular contributor to The Onion, discusses the apparent attack on WikiLeaks by several national intelligence agencies, how hyperlinks make internet-sourced information easier to fact check than traditional media, the upcoming release (April 5 at the National Press Club) of a WikiLeaks video that reveals a Pentagon murder-coverup and why effective data encryption is now more important than ever.

Jon Basil Utley, director of Americans Against World Empire, discusses the insular and ignorant world views of pro-Israel evangelical Americans, how the strong outward appearance of the US empire belies the rotten core, gerrymandering’s deleterious effects on representative government and how rising interest rates threaten the US government’s ability to finance debt.

Luke Ryland, proprietor of the blog Let Sibel Edmonds Speak, discusses the disclosure of pre-9/11 FBI investigations that corroborate some of Sibel Edmonds’ previously unsupported claims, Turkish lobbies involved in Congressional bribery and drug trafficking, US foreign military aid (funded by taxpayers) that keeps the world awash in F-16s and lines the pockets of defense contractors and the best online resources for getting up to speed on Sibel Edmonds’ story.

Peace activist Cindy Sheehan discusses the start of the Peace of the Action civil resistance against war and empire in Washington, DC, the scarcity of both peace activists who are willing to challenge a Democratic president and pro-war hecklers who demand obedience to “Commander in Chief” Obama, the circumstances around Casey Sheehan’s death in Iraq in 2004 and how substituting the word “hero” for “victim” redirects blame from the US government to the enemy du jour.

John V. Walsh, frequent contributor to Counterpunch.org, discusses Paul Krugman’s “economic chauvinism” regarding China’s currency valuation, provocative US military postures in Central and East Asia, China’s eons-long history of open trade and self defense and why the US should abandon the policy of “containing” China.

Indonesian Forces Tapped by Obama for Renewed US Aid Implicated in New Assassinations

----------------------------------------------------------

The is an old joke about a tourist from the United States at a restaurant in Havana. He tells the waiter that the USA is the best country in the world because of the freedoms it has. He says, "Take Freedom of Speech for example. I could stand in front of the White House in Washington D.C. and yell 'President Bush is a bastard!' and nothing would be done to me."

The Cuban waiter replies, "We have that same freedom in Cuba. I could stand in front of El Capital and yell the same thing and nothing would be done to me either!"

That's an older joke, and the reality of Cuba is in flux (see HERE and also HERE ). In related news, Democracy Now! ran stories about how Indonesian Forces that were tapped by Obama for renewed US Aid have been implicated in new assassinations. A few days after breaking the story, there was a follow up report about how journalist Allan Nairn is now facing possible arrest in Indonesia for exposing US-backed forces who assassinated civilians. In related news, Scott Horton of AntiWar.com interviewed Barrett Brown on the CIA vs. WikiLeaks situations. You can find all of these stories on this page.

So how are these stories related? Simple. There are several heuristic "rule-of-thumb" tests for measuring the amount of freedom in a country / society. One of them is the test of freedom of speech...we can ask ourselves which is stronger, the Pen or the Sword? I know what you're thinking...this is a trick question, right? Ok, well, I will answer a question with a question: What do you get when you cross the Godfather with a philosopher?

Answer: An offer you can't understand. And that's the answer to the question of how in the sam-hell can a free society exist with the tolerance of gangs and organized crime.

The answer is simple...call it a Democracy or Republicanism, depending on your political slant, while operating as a Fascist society, which some people call a "police-state".

Let me explain. In a free society, the Pen should be dominant over the sword. Any person should have the right to engage in political speech without being attacked by the military, police, or other "citizens". To the degree that these attacks are allowed, to that degree is freedom diminished. The freedom of speech is even MORE important than the right to vote, and as far as I know, even someone in jail or probation still has a right to freedom of political speech, although their right to vote can be "legally" stolen from them in felony cases.

The tricky part of this is that some citizens and immigrants who don't care about the democratic freedoms of their fellow citizens can and do attack other citizens who tell the truth. This can be in the form of what the mob does to "snitches", as well as attacks on journalists who don't tow the "offical story" line put out by mainstream media. Hell, these anti-democratic citizens / immigrants can even become police, prison gaurds, etc...or join "Neighborhood Watch" and "Citizen Patrol" groups, and act under the auspices of the local authorities who are funded by Homeland Security or JTTF Task Squads. Think about the activities of oranganized gangs who engange in organized crime, and especially human trafficing (which means that under a profit motive, they have no qualms about robbing a fellow human of their freedom). What do you think would happen if they could were able to take advantage of a "for profit" prison system where they could be paid for "tips"leading to the imprisonment of their political enemies? I'm not attacking Crime Stoppers, but on the other hand, some programs are created for a publically stated rationale, while being used in quite a different way. If they can't fool you by wrapping themselves in a flag, then they will try to sell you on the story that they are "doing it for the children", or other forms of "public saftey", while simutaneously passing laws to disarm a citizen from protecting himself.

And how does this relate to gangs? To the extent that these anti-democratic goons are able to infiltrate the power structure, the tail begins to wag the dog. Whether by being used as sources of dubious information as snitches and spies by local police, or as Citizen Patrols armed with radiation weapons, it's not rocket-science to figure out that once the goons have the covert but official power such as torture gadgets, it will quickly spread to free-for-all usage outside of law-enforcement by any and all gangs that can acquire them.

Torture Gadgets?

"Ok", you might be thinking, "I follow you so far, but now you're making things up".

Oh really?

Most of us have heard by now of the story about Mexican cartel gangs who killed journalists south of the border. But journalists and bloggers are pretty well protected here in the United States, right? Well, one of the main stories that I was investigating several months ago when I started this news project had to do with how the Cointel-era Red Squads have been revived. I have reported about the possibility of radiation weapons(infrared, microwave, etc...) weapons being used against journalist and bloggers in the free-press (internet) multiple times over the last fews months, and I have experienced these attacks almost daily myself since 2009, (other types of attacks occuring periodically since 2001, and almost daily since 2006). Most of us have probably heard of the CIA's Operation Mockingbird campaign, but are you aware of the attacks domestically against journalists in California, Texas, and Florida ? My contention is that the red squads are back, involved with various levels of law-enforcment and agencies (such as Homeland Security, Fusion Centers, CPS, off-duty, moonlighting prison guards...hint, hint, etc...) under the guise of "terrorism" or "public safety" as a cover, and it is worse than what has previously been reported since they are using more covert means of attack, such as the new radiation weapons. Yes, there are probably other ways to make a person feel the same effects that radiation weapons produce, but personal experiments have led me to believe that this is what I am dealing with.

In a bit more visible case, Cynthia McKinney (black politician) was targetted by darker elements of the system several years ago for speaking out about 9/11, the war in Iraq, and the plight of the Palistinians. It was a total set-up, and yet it is the precise strategy that is used over and over to silence vocal critics within the United States. While she did not, to my knowledge, experience the radiation attacks, deposed Honduras President Manuel Zelaya did, and protesters at the Sept. 2009 G-20 Summit were attacked with LRAD sound-cannons by police. Recently, an Army Tech seminar showed warfare's future, which includes electromagnetic pulse guns, genetically designed killer diseases and swarms of miniature self-guided missiles. That's the overt stuff, as opposed to the covert stuff.

You might say, "Well, it may have been like that under Bush , but it's not like that under Obama." Except that the Patriot Act has not been repealed, Obama has stated that US citizens abroad can be assassinated, without arrest or trial, if suspected of terrorist activities (which can mean anything these days), etc... so even if he inherited the situation from the previous administration, he has really done nothing to change it, and unless he plans on changing things pretty quickly, it could be argued that he has enhanced the problem... assuming that he is aware of these type of programs, which I think is a reasonable assumption.

The probable rationale for the use of the "nonlethal" weapons is to interrupt the thoughts and behavior of a person. It might be justified if someone is engaging in some non-life threatening yet criminal behavior (which opens up the entire topic of "torture" and "pain-compliance"), but my experience is that it comes at any time, without respect for specific behaviors, often lasting for hours, etc, although often being associated with internet / cellphone usage, and driving ... and yes, it does cause an interruption to normal thought / decision making processes. In some cases, the effects can be pronounced and last several days. I will say publically right now that this blog will be shut down only in the case of these types of attacks being elevated to levels of intensity and of such severity that are unmanageable, meaning that they began to effect my normal cognitive functioning, although I will probably list other truthful yet less important reasons as the rationale behind the closure. I have already experienced attacks so severe that I visited the hospitial emergency room to deal with what I consider to be the effects of radiation burns. At any rate, just Google "Report9112001" to find the supporting links, and dig out the truth for yourself.

----------------------------------------------------------

Project Closed for now due to "lack of resources" (time, energy, etc...hint, hint) until further notice. It was educational and fun to find news items from not only in the United States, but also from major news sources across the globe. This project basically confirms my outlook of Light vs. Darkness... that as an imperfect person in an imperfect world, I should and will make a distinction between those who have good will towards their fellow man and see themselves as part of humanity...vs. those who profit by tearing down others. I'm not talking about "the Law", which can and is used to play "gotcha" and beat people down...I am talking about a trans-religous and non-elitist ethic which is pro-humanity. While the media likes to focus on isolated individuals, the most harm to society comes from gangs who organize to profit by harming and defrauding those outside of their group, and it is suprising how often these groups grab hold of the levers of power in society. Our representatives in Congress don't really stand a chance...they are blind to the Mob boss infiltration at the beauracratic level from below, and lied-to from above by well-funded lobbyists who push last minute legislation down their throats before they can even read it. But I digress...

These 2 important articles speak for themselves...
